In the final months of 2008, Ashkan Safapour - electric guitarist and composer met Milad MohsenZadeh- electric guitarist, through an online social network. After few months, they began to improvise during daily and weekly meetings. Then Ashkan’s small room (which was the only place for playing and practicing) was full of blues, rock and heavy metal rhythms.

As time passed by, their common interests led them to cover and play popular artworks of famous bands like Metallica, Sepultura, Pantera and Lamb of God. While the sound of complementary instruments such as bass guitar, drums and etc. performed just through the computer's speaker. Gradually not only they became more familiar together, but also with their techniques. Ashkan and Milad became one soul in two bodies. The day after that, most of their time would spend on practicing and playing on the songs which they composed themselves. Now it was the time in which they should find and invite complementary instruments musician.  So they made plan to establish their own band which named “SATURA”.

Exactly one year later, they chose “SATURA” among 100title which were suggested to them. In fact, SATURA was the name of a music piece which ancient Romans use to play before comedies. But over time, this word semantically changed to "libel" and "satire" in dictionaries. “SATURA” was attractive for founders because this word illustrates protest within satire against catastrophical desolating events of modern world and this protest is now the theme of most SATURA's lyrics.

After that, "Mohammad Reza Rostami, became familiar with this band through online advertising and he was accepted as a bass guitarist of “SATURA”. Contemporary Ashkan invited Edward Danielzade - whom met him via internet, to join “SATURA” as drummer. He joined SATURA at the first days of 2010.  Now, “SATURA” needs a vocal.
They found Pedram Tangsir as the vocal during one of the Heavy metal meetings. Then Pedram Tangsir who just had individual experience of singing, in advance, joined SATURA.

Although, after a few months Edward and Mohammad Reza dismissed SATURA for some reasons, SATURA is constant and they got their 2 songs released as test recordings ;‘Fire Under Ice’ and ‘Enemy of an Angel’ are the titles for SATURA's two songs. All Songs are composed by Ashkan Safapour and Nasim Solymani nejad wrote their lyrics.
After one year, SATURA's member within the presence of Reza Gholami – bassist, are busy with recording their first album. The album which will be distributed in the near future and SATURA will officially enter the great family of Metal music.  SATURA’s genre is very close to ‘Thrash Metal’ and ‘Metal core’, but their Eastern themes make them different and apart from the other bands.
